St. Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust is a 24 year old organization , working in Erode and Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

We work closely on women's, youth and child development in rural and urban areas. For them facilitating livelihood opportunities for them through formal/Non-formal vocational and various activities of the training and creation and monitoring of Self Help groups.

In partnership with NABARD, NULM, TNSWB/CSWB, DGET, ICDS, NCLP and NGO Network , Corporate QUEST Alliance, TATA Motor, GHCL Foundation Trust, and General public donation etc ., St. Thomas Trust imparts formal , non formal skill training to Children, Youth and Women empowerment. 

This Covid 19 pandemic situation we got support from AZIM Premji foundation, Quest Alliance and Local donation. We distributed dry ration kits, Medical kits, cooked food and counseling, covid awareness to nearly 3000 poor people.

In our NGO network support we donated two Oxy Concentrator in two rural PHC Centers in Erode District

The St. Thomas Charitable & Educational Trust was established in 1996 by registering under the Tamil Nadu Society’s Registration Act 1975 No 143/96 on 30.12.1996.
